Children's Ministry
Kid's Port
In all services, we strive to present the gospel of Christ in such a way that it will not only be fun to learn from God's Word but that we will ultimately ignite in children the desire to be more like Jesus and share Him with their friends.
Sunday School (11:00 a.m.)
Sunday School is a fun time to learn and research the Bible. Classes are available for all children nursery through 4th grade. Age-appropriate and biblically-based lessons are presented by caring adults who enjoy sharing God's Word and reinforcing each child's knowledge of the Word and their relationship with Jesus.
BGMC (Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge)
On the first Sunday of each month, we highlight BGMC and give every child a chance to turn in the money that they have saved in their "Buddy Barrel". This money is sent to help missionaires purchase curriculum and other resources to reach the lost around the world with the gospel of Jesus.
KIDS Church (9:30 a.m.)
KIDS Church is a high-energy, interactive, fun-filled learning environment for all children age 5 through 4th grade! The Bible comes alive to the children through each message and allows them to walk with Christ while they enjoy the view from inside Noah's Ark.
Preschool (11:00 a.m.)
This early-elementary age class is specifically geared for preschool children 3-4 years of age. Each Sunday morning the teachers share the Bible in a variety of ways and they learn from God's Word about His love for children.
Infant/Toddler Nurseries
The earlier a child is exposed to the love of Jesus, the earlier they will begin a relationship with Him. While babies birth-17 months old are lovingly cared for in our Infant Nusery located near the main Sanctuary, little ones 18 months-3 years old have specific learning times with fun, Christ-centered curriculum during our Sunday morning services. All parents of young children are given a pager in case they are needed while they attend a class or the adult worship service.
Junior Bible Quiz
JBQ allows children to compete individually and as a team against other churches in Indiana. Children gain an invaluable amout of Bible knowledge while participating in this activity. All children age K-6th grade can participate and practices are held each Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
Special Events
Opportunities to reach out to the community are offered each year through Easter Fun, Sports Camp, Vacation Bible School and our Fall Festival. All of these events take place on the Glad Tidings Church campus and are open to everyone!
