Music Ministries

Welcome to Glad Tidings Music Ministry.  Our purpose is to faithfully use the gifts and talents God has given us to glorify Him, and to lead this congregation, "into His courts with praise."

 As Choir Members, we have the exciting opportunity, and the awesome responsibility of leading this fellowship in worship each week.  This ministry leadership takes a high level of commitment.  Our effectiveness as Worship Leaders will depend on our level of commitment and faithfulness.

Our Biblical music ancestors span the Scripture from Genesis to Revelation.  Our best Biblical role models are the Levites.  They were the music leaders of Old Testament temple worship.  Chronicles 15 offers us information regarding music, instruments, and worship.  The New Testament continues the importance of music and worship in the Christian life.

Glad Tidings Choir sings a variety of styles of music.  Our goal is not to expand people's musical taste or appreciation.  Our goal is to draw people to Jesus and help them to truly worship Him.
