First Serve Opportunities

  • Sanctuary Choir
    You must be 18 years old and out of High School to join the choir.  You are not required to read music to join.  The Sanctuary choir leads worship regularly for the 9:30 and 10:45 AM worship services.  It also ministers through outreach productions, concerts and other special events.
  • Praise and Worship Team
    This ministry has the awesome responsibility of leading the church in worship for the Sunday worship services.  It takes a high level of commitment and is selected from within the choir by the music minister, Rita Stoner.  If interested, joining the Sanctuary Choir is the first step toward being a vocalist with the praise and worship team
  • Praise & Worship Band
    Musicians who lead worship for the Sunday Services and special events.  This ministry requires moderate ability on your instrument with light improvisations ability.  They rehearse Tuesday evenings at 6:00 PM.
  • Drama Team
    A ministry team using performing arts to deliver biblical principles and truths in an evangelistic way through acting.  The capability to memorize script, commitment to rehearsals and a love for the arts are the requirements to be part of the drama team.
  • Drama Production Team
    A group of people interested in set design, set construction, wardrobe design, and technical aspects of large-scale productions.  Giftedness to lead or the willingness to learn to build and paint sets, sew, or assist with props and backstage management, and a commitment to work during seasonal productions are desirable for this ministry.
  • Youth Choir Director
    Vocal director for youth (grades 6-12).  This is an opportunity to lead an exciting and energetic group of you to minister in worship services, outreach events, tours and productions.  This position takes a high level of commitment and would work under the direction of the music minister, Rita Stoner.  Some basic musical experience is required for this position.
  • Youth Choir Assistant
    Assist the Youth Choir Director with music organization of books, rehearsal reminders, tour scheduling and other areas defined by the director.  The youth choir assistant would work under the direction of the youth choir director.  A willingness to serve, love of music and to enjoy working with youth (grades 6-12) are the only requirements.
