GT Up Close
Thank you for your interest in Glad Tidings and for your desire to become more fully engaged in the life of the church. Information regarding small groups, Sunday school classes, and serving opportunities is always available at the Welcome Center. Additionally, we have some specific opportunities for you to learn more about our vision and values. The GT Welcome Dinner is a chance for those new to the church to become acquainted with the staff and ministries of Glad Tidings, and The CORE is a set of classes designed to provide more detailed information about the church vision and values.
Welcome Dinner
This casual and informal gathering will take place in the Fellowship Center. Guests have the opportunity to talk with the GT staff and learn about ways to connect with others at GT. Pastor Kevin will share a brief presentation regarding the vision and values of Glad Tidings and will make a special invitation to The CORE classes. Cards will be available to sign up for small groups, and a brief time of questions and answers will close the session. (Sign-up required and childcare provided upon request.)

The CORE
The Core is a set of three classes that will aid you in the development of your Christian walk. They will be offered five times throughout the year during the second morning worship service. Though you are not required to participate in all three courses or participate in them in a certain order, we would encourage you to complete all three so that you can continue to grow as a disciple and follower of Christ.
Discovering Glad Tidings:
Discovering Glad Tidings is a one-hour course for those who are interested in learning more about the ministries, vision, values, and future direction of Glad Tidings. The class will be offered five times throughout the year on Sunday mornings at either 9:30 or 11:00 in the conference room. This class is a prerequisite for church membership.
Discovering Your Spiritual Gifts:
Discovering Your Spiritual Gifts is a one-hour course to assist in the uncovering and utilization of the gifts that God has so graciously given to us all. You will not only learn the biblical basis for spiritual gifts, but through an assessment tool, you will discover the very gifts that God has given you and how to effectively use your gifts within and for the body of Christ. There will also be a conversation about current serving opportunities that are available within the church and community. This class will be offered five times throughout the year on Sunday mornings at either 9:30 or 11:00 in the conference room.
Sharing Your Faith:
Sharing Your Faith is a one-hour course that is uniquely designed to engage in a conversation about the Great Commission. During this hour, several elements of the Great Commission will be unpacked as you will begin to learn how to effectively and obediently share your faith with others. A mark or element of a disciple of Jesus Christ is one who boldly proclaims their Christian faith with the world. This class will be offered five times throughout the year on Sunday mornings at either 9:30 or 11:00 in the conference room.
