Programming and Activities

Kids Port is Glad Tidings' Children's Ministry.  With a wide range of nursery services, classes, and other hands-on activities for infants through 5th Graders, Kids Port strives to present the gospel of Christ in a way that makes it fun to learn from God’s Word and ignites a desire in each child to be more like Jesus and share Him with their friends. Our Volunteers and Staff

As a parent, you can be confident that your kids are in excellent hands while they're at Kids Port. All of our volunteers have had background checks and serve on the children’s ministry team because they love kids and want to see them grow to become life-long followers of Jesus Christ.  To hear what some parents say about their child's experience in Kids Port, you can view parent testimonials here.

Check-in Procedure

Entrance into the kids’ area begins in the Kids Chapel Lobby at Kids’ Check-In.  All children should come through Kids’ Check-In to receive information from our ministry team. Children are checked in using a computer system that gives each child a name tag and a tag for the parent.  This system helps us to better secure the children’s safety while in our care.  When picking up a child, the parent tag is matched up with the child’s.
