The NASV renders Psalm 37:23 and 24 in this manner, “the steps of a man are established by the Lord and He delights in his way. When he falls he will not be hurled head long, because the Lord is the One who holds his hand.” Such verses arouse in us all sorts of inquiry and speculation.
