In the great commission, Jesus said, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation." Part of the vision of Glad Tidings is to REACH beyond the walls of our church to reflect Christ's character in our neighborhood, our city, and our world.

Below you will find some of the initiatives we support. You can help us REACH out to others through volunteering, praying, and financial giving.

Sutton Elementary School Outreach

Glad Tidings Church has established a partner relationship with Sutton Elementary. Our Sutton initiative began as GT members volunteered to mentor students through Kids Hope USA. In recent years, our partnership has grown to include a variety of events at both Sutton Elementary and Glad Tidings campus. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities in our Sutton partnership.

  • Serve on a rotating schedule to make and distribute popcorn on Friday mornings.
  • KIDS HOPE USA ~ mentor a child one hour each week during the school year. Training is provided.
  • All Pro Dad ~ this ministry encourages dads to be a positive role model to their children. Volunteers serve breakfast and build relationships with the men and children on the second Friday of each month.
  • Collect Box Tops for Education to help teachers earn free resources for classrooms.
  • Volunteer opportunities exist in classrooms, in the school office, and at events hosted at GT and the school.

Chi Alpha Campus Ministry

Chi Alpha is the Assemblies of God campus ministry at Ball State University. A team of missionaries are committed to reaching one of the biggest mission fields in our city - the college campus. Learn how you can support Chi Alpha by connecting to their website here.

  • Pray for our campus ministers: Josh & Alli Bowman, James Snouweart
  • Become a partner-family for a Ball State international student.
  • Provide occasional food or resources for Chi Alpha initiatives on campus.
