All of the following nurseries, classes, and programs take place on Sunday at 9:15 and 11:00 a.m.  Infant through 4th grade ministry is available during our Wednesday Bible studies at 7:00 p.m.

(Birth-18 months)
Near the Main Sanctuary Children are lovingly cared for in our nursery located near the main sanctuary. It has been beautifully decorated with vivid colors and designed to fit the needs of our smallest church members.  All parents of young children are given a pager in case they are needed while they attend a class or the adult worship service.
Toddler Nursery
(19 month-3 years)
Education Wing – Room 202
The toddler classroom ushers little ones into the Garden of Eden where they are offered fun, Christ-centered curriculum during the Sunday morning services.  The earlier a child is exposed to the truth of the love of Jesus, the earlier they can begin a relationship with Him. This class is located in the children’s education wing.  All parents of young children are given a pager in case they are needed while they attend a class or the adult worship service. When children are three years old and potty trained, they move into the preschool ministry.
Preschool Ministry
(3-5 year olds)
Education Wing – Room 204
Preschool students are welcomed into a fun environment where they learn the story of God’s love. From fun activities to movement, games, music, and crafts, your children will love our classes. Our goal is that your children will know three basic truths by the age of 5: God made me (Psalm 139:13-14), God loves me (Romans 8:38-39),  and Jesus wants to be my friend forever (John 3:16).
Elementary Worship Service
(K-4th Grade)
Education Wing – Kids Chapel
Our elementary services combine high-energy activities with Bible-based teaching for boys and girls in kindergarten through 4th grade. A combination of games, skits, teaching, interesting characters, and fun-filled songs capture kids’ attention while showing them that living for God is the best thing out there. We also spend time in small groups with dedicated volunteers going deeper in developing relationships and discussing the weekly topic. We want every child to learn three main things in their time at GTKM. First, we want them to trust and follow Jesus, spend time getting to know God, do what He says, and discover His unique plan for their life. Second, we want them to know they can trust God no matter what because He is their Creator, Father, Guide and Savior. And finally, we want them to learn to show God’s love to those around them, care enough to put others before themselves, respect whoever God puts in authority over them, and be the right friend to those beside them.
Midweek Wednesday Service:
Your children will go deeper in God’s Word and spend time discussing tough topics children face. We have classes for newborn – 4th grade from 7:00 – 8:15 p.m.

Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC)

Children give their tithes and offerings to help missionaries purchase curriculum and other resources to reach the lost around the world with the gospel of Christ. Once a month, we share a lesson on missions and they are taken on a journey of sights, sounds, and tastes as they discover what life is like for children in other parts of the world and how their BGMC giving is reaching those children for Christ.

Community Outreach

GT provides opportunities to reach out to the children in our community. Mega Sports Camp takes place on the Glad Tidings campus and is open to our church family and the community. We coordinate events with Grissom Elementary School, like our mentorship program with Kids Hope USA on a weekly basis. Our Back to School Event is held annually and provides backpacks, school supplies, shoes, and other necessities to every child who attends Grissom Elementary School.
